Meetings at St Giles
As a church we meet on a Sunday, but we also meet together on other occasions!
Home groups are the primary place of belonging in the church. They are a place where you get to know people and where you are known. We worship together and study the Bible together and pray for one another too. To be a member of St Giles, you need to get into a growth group. Growth groups meet on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Thursday of each month, and also on Thursdays during the day.
Church Family Meal
Usually On the 1st Thursday evening each month we meet together for a meal. This is an extended time of fellowship together, good food and a great chance to get to know people.
Our robed choir helps to lead our more traditional services. You don't have to be professional singer- just have a heart for worship and enjoy singing. Practises are on a Friday evening.
Worship Music Group
Our music group leads worship at our more informal services. You don't have to be professional musician - just have a heart for worship and some ability to play an instrument or sing.
We have an active group of ringers at St Giles who welcome new members to ring on Sunday mornings together with ringing practice Tuesdays between 7.30 and 9.00 pm. If you are interested call 820759 for details.
Giles Coffee Shop
Giles coffee shop is our Fair Trade Coffee Shop which is open each Friday from 9am to 12 noon at the Peace Memorial Hall in the middle of the village. We offer a warm welcome and a full range of coffees as well as tea, soft drinks and home made cakes.
Come on your own, come with a friend, come with the children - we've lots of room for buggies!
