10/5  Ascension Day – informal praise and prayer event

Drinks served in Church from 7.30pm.  There will be music, video, teaching, and an introduction to different ways of praying.

11/5 Prayer Walk starting from the PMH at 10.00am

Share a coffee together; talk about where you will walk; pair off to walk different parts of the village.  On the way, do not chat, but look, listen and quietly pray God’s blessing on the places and people you pass.  Ask to see and hear all around you as God does.  Join together for brief prayer at end.

12/5  Prayer stations based on different parts of the Lord’s Prayer

Set up in Church for you to use on your own as you wish throughout the morning from 10am until 12noon.

14/5 – 18/5  Coffee and Prayer in different homes

Share a coffee together.  Morning gatherings at 10am, end by 10.45am.  Hosts will ensure 10-15 minutes of prayer together before everyone leaves.  Come with a prayer of your own to read out; use one of the prayers that will be supplied on the day; pray out loud as you wish; pray silently.  Evening prayers only on Weds 16/5, begin at 8pm.

19/5  Prayer stations based on different parts of the Lord’s Prayer

Set up in Church for you to use on your own as you wish throughout the morning from 10am until 12noon.

19/5  “Beacon” Celebration in St.Albans Cathedral.  Worship led by a band from (youth church) Soul Survivor.  Speakers include the Rt Revd Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, and the Revd Hayley Young, a Baptist Minister.  Prayer activities in the Cathedral from 4pm.
